Our business partner, a large analytic database management software company based in Germany, is looking for a Service and Support Engineer / Linux Administrator (m/w).
Your tasks:
- acceptance of customers’ support requests (1st and 2nd level support)
- troubleshooting and remote analysis / maintenance
- installation, administration and documentation of customers’ systems
- on-site installations as well as support of the presales team within the PoC
- trusted working time as well as independent work; flexible work organization and design
- together with the team you provide reliable support including 24/7 on-call (additional compensation model)
- efficient monitoring, change and incident management of internal and external customer systems
- conscientious adherence to the SLAs
Your profile:
- relevant experience with GNU / Linux system and network administration
- knowledge of cloud systems such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or OpenStack
- hardware experience with server, network and RAID
- high communication skills, openness and customer orientation
- flexibility; ability to prioritize and make quick decisions with limited information
- structured and precise operation; excellent analysis and problem-solving ability
- English (min. B2); German is a plus
