We are looking for a Sr. Linux Support Engineer, full time, for our team working with a large analytic database management software company based in Germany,
Your tasks:
- design, implement, and monitor the infrastructure
- monitor internal and external customer systems and infrastructure
- organize, dispatch and process the incoming tickets
- process support requests, troubleshooting and maintenance
- measure and improve work processes implementing required changes in policies and procedures
- participate in the 24×7 on-call duties
- support of the presales team within the PoC
Your profile:
- experience with GNU / Linux system and network administration
- knowledge of one or more of the following cloud technologies: AWS, MS Azure, GCP
- nice to have: Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, Docker
- high communication skills, openness and customer orientation
- flexibility, ability to prioritize and make quick decisions with limited information
- structured and precise operation; excellent analysis and problem-solving ability
- English – professional working proficiency
